Successful visit of Neal Kinsey in The Netherlands

On 5 and 6 June we had the honor to welcome Neal Kinsey to the Netherlands for a two-day course “Healthy soil, Fruitful result”. During this course he shared his knowledge and many years of experience with more then 100 attendees from seven different countries.

Neal Kinsey comes from Charleston (Missouri) USA. He has been the owner of Kinsey Agricultural Services Inc. since 1973. This company specialises in soil fertility management and operates in more than 75 countries in the world. As a very experienced soil and fertilizer specialist, he advises and mentors a number of companies in both mainstream and organic farming.

The Kinsey-Albrecht System
Neal Kinsey uses the unique Kinsey-Albrecht method. Dr Albrecht discovered as early as in 1900 that there is a strong relationship between soil quality and food quality. Neal Kinsey was one of his last students, and therefore he is one of the few people left who still have his unique calculation and analysis methods. This in combination with his many years of experience enable Neal to translate this analysis into the most appropriate advice on specific fertilizer products.

The Kinsey-Albrecht method is based on a system of mineral supplementation. This is applied in such a way that the soil is not harmed and feeds the plants correctly. The balance between the different minerals is more important than their quantity. By making use of the principles of soil chemistry, the correct soil structure can be developed. This provides the basis in which the soil biology can flourish. Neal applies this method to all vegetable and roughage crops throughout the world.
